In dieser Funktion übernehmen Sie die finanzielle Führung der Country Manager und Sales Teams in Österreich und der Schweiz.

Die Die Stelle wird in unserem EMEA HQ in Hannover, Deutschland, angesiedelt sein.

Diese Stelle ist für unseren Clarios EMEA-Hauptsitz in Hannover (Deutschland) vorgesehen und beinhaltet daher auch einen Umzug nach Hannover. Hinsichtlich Wohnungssuche und möglicher auftretender Kosten bieten wir Ihnen unsere volle Unterstützung an. 

Ihr Aufgabenfeld

• Sie leisten einen Beitrag zur Entwicklung und Umsetzung lokaler Strategien in Übereinstimmung mit den Unternehmensrichtlinien zur Steigerung des Geschäftswachstums und der Kundenrentabilität in der Region.
• Sie leiten die Sammlung, Analyse, Präsentation und Verteilung von Finanzinformationen, die das regionale Managementteam benötigt.
• Überwachung und Prüfung von Kundenrückerstattungen und zugehörigen Verträgen und Sicherstellung der vollständigen Einhaltung der Vorschriften in den Buchhaltungsunterlagen.
• Durchführung regelmäßiger Geschäftsüberprüfungen, Benchmarking, Angebotsprüfungen, Cashflow-Analysen und Rentabilitätsprüfungen auf Kunden- und Produktebene.
• Verwaltung und Durchführung regelmäßiger Überprüfungen der Ist-Zahlen am Monatsende, rollierender Prognosen und Budgets für Österreich und die Schweiz mit dem regionalen Managementteam.
• Vorbereitung und Analyse der Gewinn- und Verlustrechnung und der Bilanz für die Monatsendaktivitäten, Prognosen und Budgets für die entsprechenden kommerziellen Aktivitäten innerhalb der Region.
• Überprüfung und Meldung monatlicher Abweichungen gegenüber Vorjahr, Prognose und Budget.
• Enge Zusammenarbeit mit dem Regional Business Center (BBC) zur Koordinierung und Überwachung der Buchhaltungsfunktionen und -verfahren, die sich auf die juristischen Einheiten unter eigener Verantwortung auswirken (das BBC-Team unterstützt die Debitoren-, Kreditoren- und Hauptbuchhaltung).
• Durchsetzung interner Kontrollen zur Sicherstellung der SOX-Konformität und Verbesserung der lokalen Prozesse.

Ihre Qualifikationen

• Hochschulabschluss, idealerweise in Betriebswirtschaft oder Finanz- und Rechnungswesen
• Solide Jahre Berufserfahrung im Finanzwesen, vorzugsweise in einer multinationalen, matrixorientierten Organisation
• Professionelle Kenntnisse im Umgang mit MS Excel sowie SAP sind von Vorteil
• Ausgeprägte technische und analytische Fähigkeiten mit Finanzsystemen, ERP-Systemen, Preisgestaltungssystemen, Steuer- und Rechnungslegungsstandards
• Erfahrung in der Rentabilitätssteigerung durch Optimierung von Prozessen und Kostenstrukturen
• Kundenorientierung, sowohl intern als auch extern, und Geschäftssinn
• Verantwortungsbewusstsein und Ergebnisorientierung
• Finanzkontrolle, Finanzanalyse, Finanzberichterstattung und Rechnungsprüfung
• Erfahrung im öffentlichen Rechnungswesen ist von Vorteil
• Starke intrinsische Motivation, positive Ausstrahlung und proaktives Denken
• Interkulturelle Kommunikationsfähigkeit ist ein Plus
• Fließende Beherrschung der deutschen und englischen Sprache ist ein Muss

The Country Controller reports directly to the Regional Controller.

This role provides financial leadership to the country managers and sales teams located in Austria and Switzerland.

The role will be based in our EMEA HQ Office in Hannover, Germany.

This role is primarily intended to be based in our Clarios EMEA HQ Hannover (Germany). The succesful candidate will be offered to relocate to Germany, with a full relocation support.

What you will do

• Manage and conduct regular reviews for month-end actuals deliverables, rolling forecast and budget for Austria and Switzerland with the regional management team
• Review and report monthly variance against prior year, forecast & budget
• Contribute to the development and implementation of local strategies in compliance with corporate policies enhancing business growth and customer profitability within the region
• Head up for collection, analysis, presentation, and distribution of financial information required by Regional Management team
• Monitor and audit customer reimbursements, related contracts and ensure full compliance in accounting records
• Conduct regular business reviews, set benchmarking, offer audits, cash flow analysis and profitability reviews on customer and product level
• Prepare and analyze income statement and balance sheet reporting for month-end activities, rolling forecast and budget for the related commercial activities within the region
• Work closely with Regional Business Center (BBC) coordinating and monitoring the accounting functions and procedures impacting on the Legal Entities under own responsibility (BBC team supports for Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and G/L Accounting)
• Enforce internal controls ensuring SOX compliance and improve local processes

What we look for

• University degree, ideally in business administration, accounting or finance.
• Solid years of professional experience in Finance, preferably in a multinational, matrix driven organization
• Professional level of working proficiency with MS Excel, SAP is an advantage
• Strong technical and analytical skills. Technical experience will cover the range of financial systems, ERP systems, pricing systems, tax and accounting standards
• Customer focused, both internal and external and business acumen
• Accountable and drive for results
• Strong intrinsic motivation, positive charisma, and pro-active mindset
• Cross-cultural communication skill is a plus
• Fluency in German and English is a must
