IT Architect Sharepoint

What you will do

You will be responsible for the architecture, design, & development of Clarios SharePoint platform & applications. You will be also responsible for ensuring the use of standard, out of the box functionality and reduction in customizations.

This role combines business strategy and industry best practices to set application development direction that is strategically aligned and business value-focused. Works with cross-functional business/IT teams and IT Business Partners in translating business demand into actionable roadmaps. Ensures successful plan, build, test, and run of integrated enterprise IT capability/services.

You will need to drive continuous improvement to stabilize/rationalize existing IT application landscape and need to have the ability to deliver support, enhance and build (project work) on time and under budget while following Clarios application development standards.

Main responsibilities

•You will own the technical architecture of SharePoint platform and you will be responsible to make sure that solutions are built using Standard SharePoint functionality.
•You will work with IT business partners, business, and external partners to enhance business capabilities while simplifying the landscape over time.
•You will lead the technical design, development, testing and implementation of IT applications through operating a metrics-based management system.
•You will provide internal and external staffing to meet the needs of the approved project portfolio and planned application enhancements.
•You will be accountable for ensuring external vendor solution delivery to standard architecture and high quality.
•You will be responsible for providing level 3 support for any production issues.
•You will meet with user management and staff to understand business requirements and determine system requirements.
•You will work with customers to define and prioritize improvement initiatives and assist in building strategic roadmaps and aligning the business initiatives with IT initiatives to shape the IT vision and strategy.

How you will do it

•You will provide work effort and cost estimates to business relationship and PMO teams as requested.
•You will be responsible for creating project solution proposals (including architecture) for SharePoint projects and enhancements.
•You will be responsible for the approval of technical solutions delivered by internal and external 3rd party to assure the development and configuration according to SharePoint standards.
•You will work in collaboration with other IT delivery teams to ensure compatibility of designs and consistent delivery practices.
•You will ensure design and delivery of solutions compliant with IT General Controls and SOX.
•You will be responsible for overall quality of solution delivery and successful cut over and launch activities.
•You will develop and facilitates strategies in the area of system, data and application integration, ensuring that interfaces are properly identified, designed, and implemented
