Senior Analyst Treasury Applications

The primary function is to support the Treasury function within Power Solution business.
Main Treasury applications that business uses are FIS Integrity and TRAX that are integrated with regional ERP systems like QAD and SAP.
This role, in collaboration with third party SaaS solution providers will also help define how the solution will be implemented.

The role works closely with business experts to understand the model the current and future state business processes.

Provide overall effective development, administration, support, and best practice for Treasury Applications

How you will do it
• Partner with the IT business partners and SME’s to create/improve business process models which reflect appropriate solutions to their business needs.
• Analyze business operations to understand strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions that enable users success.
• Ensure consensus and business approval of requirements and designs through each step of the delivery process.
• Provide best practice configuration recommendations during design phases.
• Provide recommendations on when to create custom objects vs. use out-of-the-box functionality vs. purchase a SaaS solution
• Identify solution alternatives and make a recommendation as to the best implementation approach of the systems functions.
• Provide quality assurance on configuration and development changes.
• Effectively manage change control throughout the life cycle of the project
• Support and work with multiple Treasury applications around the globe i.e. TRAX, FIS Integrity.
• Ensure effective and accurate tracking and logging of support issues
• Ensure work is properly documented including all key customizations and report specifications.
• Support integrations with other business applications like ERP’s or external partners like Banks.
• Implementation of required functionality and (approved) customizations
• Follow proper controls in the areas of security, access, separation of duties, design and release standards.
• Provide technical and functional support to all Treasury end users.
• Gather requirements and support UAT sessions with business unit stakeholders (as needed).
• Support and follow standardized project management and release management processes
• Make effective proactive value add recommendations followed up by action leading to positive concrete results contributing to business and IT success
• Proactively communicate the status of your work to your development team leader. Include current estimate-to-complete for your tasks, accomplishments, current workload, issues and roadblocks
• Work closely with other functional and technical resources during the build phase to insure that the delivered software product will in fact fully satisfy all of the business needs for which it’s intended.
• Provide regular and consistent communication to contacts on status of their issues or requests.
• Provide proactive identification and escalation of application issues that require an increased focus or management attention.

What we look for
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Finance, Business or other relevant area
• 8+ years of professional experience in a business systems analyst or similar role
• 5+ years of hands on experience with Treasury applications (like TRAX)
• Ability to bridge multiple business customers (Shared service centers, BU users and most important the treasury department across the world)
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment; ability to work collaboratively with user, development, and support groups; flexibility and adaptability to changing situations.
• Ability to handle a variety of tasks in parallel.
• Good analytical/problem solving skills are mandatory.
• Knowledge and Experience of both Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to provide application solutions by interpreting customer needs, assessing business requirements and identifying timely solutions with clear and concise functional specification requirements for assigned work.
• Proven ability to work with internal support teams and third part AMS and/or SaaS providers to effectively and urgently resolve application issues.
