Position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

Purpose of the role:
IT application and administration support for German speaking users

Key Accountabilities:
  • Manage and support D&T Process for starters and leavers incl. IT access rights incl. documentation
  • Handle workflows, add improvements and help to define new innovative processes
  • Responsible for SAP user management and access rights
  • Responsible for SAP authorization concept and role creation
  • Perform SAP license management and user account reporting and verification
  • Analyze application issues and provide 1st and 2nd level support
  • Manage application support tickets (incidents, requests, changes) and coordinate external partners
  • Interact with internal clients, acting as a liaison between business and technology areas
  • Builds relationships with internal clients to improve services and ensure service levels being met
  • Participate and drive D&T projects according to D&T roadmap
  • IT- and business project management: Manage project scope, change management, monitors project progress and performance
  • Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines
  • Create documentation, instruct others
  • Seek and implement continuous improvement opportunities; keep abreast of technology changes and training requirements related to the role
  • Business and technical analysis

Requirements for the employee

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and German - Advanced (C1)

Personality requirements and skills

• SAP knowledge for user administration and access rights
• SAP knowledge for authorization management and license management
• Basic knowledge of Finance and CMMS business processes
• Used to work with a ticketing system according to ITIL (e.g. ServiceNow)
• Good knowledge and practice in MS Office365, especially MS Excel and MS Outlook
• Basic knowledge in Active Directory and User Account Management
• Ability to cooperate with people of different levels inside/outside the company and to interact with teams to reach team goals and business objectives
• Business and technical analysis
• Project management
• Ability to comprehend, analyse and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Advanced analytical and quantitative skills
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
• Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customer
• Strong communication skills verbal and written in German and English
