Job description, responsibilities and duties

Purpose of the role:
Responsible for the management and evolution of space and occuopancy related datasets which support analysis, opportunity finding and business case development ultimately resulting in better use of buildings.
Initial focus will be to maintain the current space management platform by ensuring data rules are being followed and that a consistent method of reportoing is being observed.
The role will report to the CBRE dedicated Global WMO Lead based in the UK.

  • Own quality processes related to all space and occupancy datasets current and future
  • Ensure scheduled reporting is delivered according to a predefined frequency and agreed templates
  • Central point for ad-hoc reporting requests and the coordination of the delivery
  • Be the main contact and CBRE owner of the CLIENT’S space management system
  • Contribute to and own certain relationships with the space management system vendor
  • Own documentation related to the space management system and related reporting
  • Manage a log of CLIENT’S space management training and ensuring all users have enough knowledge to maintain consistency
  • Work closely with CLIENT, CBRE Occupancy team and CBRE Occupancy Platform to develop data sets and reporting outputs
  • Bring best practice from industry and CBRE related to technology, processes and reporting
  • Provide support in executing the established space governance model / principles in-line with CLIENT’S guidelines
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with CLIENT’S and CBRE governance and standards
  • Support the Global WMO Lead in delivering a best practice focused occupancy management service to the CLIENT
  • Perform additional job duties as requested

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES
• Critical thinking and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of space management, CAFM and IWMS
• Knowledge of real estate related datasets and their purpose
• Advance skills in data & information analysis, interpretation and visualization with effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle a large volume of information and accurate management of large datasets
• Ability to understand connections between datasets and aggregation techniques
• Computer proficiency in relational databases, reporting tools, MS Office (including MS Access) with ability to learn new information management systems quickly. Knowledge of SQL also a benefit
• Ability to work independent with minimal supervision to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines

Awareness of Health & Safety and other legislation in respect of accommodation planning (occupancy capacities, fire escapes, facility provisions etc)
