Job description, responsibilities and duties
We require a Classroom Assistant to support a Year 2 Class Teacher in our primary school. The role will involve support in classrooms and also break and lunchtime supervision duties.
For the right candidate, if a suitable post arises in the future, a full teaching position may be available on a salary scale to €2000.

The role will suit a qualified Primary School Teacher or equally someone who has a good rapport with children and would like to work in an educational support role. It is English Language skill, personality and work ethic that is most important, not your formal qualifications, although these are required by regulation to at least Bachelor level for an assistant role.
