Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of medical care of students at the School
• Responsible for the assessment of care needs and the evaluation and implementation of programme of care without supervision.
• Ensure that own nursing practices comply with professional code of conduct and BISB Medical policies and procedures.
• Forming and maintaining clear line of communication between the Medical room and the rest of the school, adhering to strict guidelines on confidentiality.
• Establish and maintain professional contact with the parents of the students.
• To show an awareness along with the rest of the Medical Room team of financial matters, maintaining safe levels of drugs and equipment thus enabling the smooth running of the medical room.
• Maintaining accurate clear records of attendances and care provided.
• Help to optimize wellbeing of pupils by providing health education and support, taking on an active role in delivering special clinics relating to health education.
