Job description, responsibilities and duties
RCS Officer provides a reasonable assurance to Compliance Department Director, through opinions, supervision and level 2 independent controls, regarding the efficiency and consistency of local Compliance Department and local Compliance permanent control set ups, for Client Interest Protection (PIC), Market Integrity (MI), Professional Ethics (PE), Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC), and ad hoc controls/investigation with Group and PF requirements and applicable laws/regulations.
Within his/her perimeter, he/she sets the tone at the top level to develop a strong PIC/MI/PE/ABC Compliance culture in line with the following principles:

• Accountability: Compliance is everyone's duty
• Dialog: Compliance as a Business partner
Direct Responsibilities
• Supports the Bank's efforts to build consistent and comprehensive client knowledge framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements;
• Ensures consistent deployment of Group and PF Compliance policies and methodologies according to the regulations;
• Provides support and guidance in these domains;
• Makes Compliance decisions and/or delivers advice on the issues his/her scope of responsibility, according to the Group and PF decision and escalation processes;
• Contributes to the team’s training and awareness planning;
• Handles with strict confidentiality the ethical alerts directly received;
• Ensures Regulatory Watch for MI, PE and PIC related topics, in coordination with PF and IFS domains/in cooperation with Legal Services Department;
• Represents the Entity as MI and PE domain expert in MI/PE and PIC Committees (at local or PF/central levels);
• Establishes an appropriate organization and governance of Compliance for MI, PE and PIC domains within the Entity, taking into account the local specificities;
• Drives the change required within the Entity for MI/PE, and PIC in interaction with the Business, PF Compliance, Legal Services Department and COO (if any);
• Prevents and manages conflicts of interest situations;
• Ensures PIC risk intelligence (regulatory, jurisprudential and competitive intelligence watch);
• Remain informed and anticipate major regulatory and jurisprudential evolutions, and impact on business practices and relevant Group functions activities;
This position is as a replacement for an maternity/parental leave.
