Research & Development Manager (f/m)

Our client is a highly successful international food producer for whom we are searching for a Research & Development Manager (f/m) for its head office in Austria. In this role, you would be responsible for the navigation of all research and development projects in the field of food technology.

YOUR TASTKS:

You create the yearly project plan and ensure project implementation and communication with internal and external partners as well as management of the budget. You also develop and optimize food Technologies (with an emphasis on fruits and vegetables) and you take part in implementing and initiating innovation for the current assortment. As the R&D Manager, you are leading a Team of 8, developing their strengths and providing a direction.

YOUR PROFILE:

You hold a degree in food technologies and you have at least 7 years of work experience in the food industry or in research for food technology with a focus on new technologies. On top of that, you are great at project management and have experience in leading a team. You are solution-focused, you have a passion for research and innovation and you are very persistent when it comes to finishing a project. You are used to work as an interface of different departments and you know what it is like to work in an international corporate organization. Your strong-willed, dynamic and confident personality make you a great fit for this leading position. Excellent English knowledge and a self-starter mentality complete your profile whereas German skills are an asset.
