Calibration Engineer f/m

Your Responsibilities:

• Calibration of powertrain control devices (engine, exhaust aftertreatment, transmission, hybrid)
• Planning, execution and evaluation of stationary and dynamic calibration in engine test benches
• Planning, execution and evaluation of dynamic calibration in vehicles with the objective driving behavior and legal limit values for emission and On Board Diagnostics
• Optimization and testing under all climate conditions on test trips (heat, altitude, cold)
• Robustness tests to cover production tolerances, fuel qualities and country specifics
• Documentation of the development work, presentation of the results
• Internal communication for the planning and organization of calibration tasks
• Communication with customers to present analysis and results

Your Profile:

• Completed university degree (advanced technical college, University of Technology) – mechanical engineering, vehicle technology, electrical engineering mechatronics, physics or chemical engineering
• In-depth knowledge of thermodynamic of internal combustion engines, transmission and electric powertrain
• Interest in powertrain technology and vehicles
• Basic knowledge of electronics, informatics and control engineering
• Willingness to travel
• Analytic reasoning power, ability to understand complex connections and dependencies
• Independent, target-oriented working style
• Experience of calibration tools (e.g. INCA, Concerto, DiagRa) is prefered
• Good communication-, organization- and team skills
• Fluent in English
• Fluent in local language (German) or willingness to learn language
• Driving license for passenger car

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the intended annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: EUR 42,500.00 . We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
