Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Develop overall project technical Solutions and deliver a full solution package working for our customer IBM and their customers under the AT&T NMS project ( New managed services )
• Responsible for interpreting a customer’s needs and scope and take part in definition/clarification meetings and participate in sales led client clarification meetings.
• Responsible for due diligence gathering to allow a design and cost to be built to meet customer needs
• Responsible for documenting the confirmed final requirements
• Build a design response to cover a multitude of networking offerings covering the need for LAN and voice technology’s so encompassing into your design, switches and switching, WAN/LAN routers, firewalls , load balancers , network virtualization , DNS and security access and controls
• Ability to work on and produce networking designs based upon services and technology’s such as- Cisco ACI and open Fabric, juniper Junos , F5 technology , WLAN , Checkpoint , Cisco , Fortnet security , Next generation DC designs including SDN-SDDC-and orchestration- VMware and NSX services inside and outside of cloud networking’s , IBM IGA internal networks including IBM power 9 designs and IGA LAN and WLAN
• Participate in Review Boards and Solution Fit calls for internal and external Technical Solution approval
• Maintain active communication with Sales and key stakeholders.
• Responsible for the integration of the NMS or Custom Solution with AT&T standard services or third-party systems/network/devices.
• Engage with all AT&T solution partners to build the solution response
• Identify and manage Deal Technical Solution escalations, management intervention, iteration management in addition to issues, risks and gaps
• Develop and document Technical Solution Approach – including Network Design and key assumptions
• Identify costing and solution methodology required based on customer contract, customer type, transformation status and technical requirements.
• Develop appropriate deliverables for overall Technical solution;
• Technical Solution Document (TSD) which may include all or portions of; Equipment order lists, Maintenance level description, WITO inventory, Transformation and Refresh description, SLA, High level Transition Plan, special Reporting considerations, key assumptions, and Solution Diagram.
• Costing Documents
• Delivery Transition Report
