Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Production Engineers within Slovakia are responsible for facilitation and support of the implementation for customer WAN/LAN and WLAN solutions.

The Production Engineer provide close support to Project Managers, Engineers and Architects responsible for design of various AT&T services in order to:

• Develop site survey forms and reviews site survey results.
• Develop Site Preparation Documents for pre-installation activities.
• Lead test activities associated with cabling specifications.
• Develop Site Documentation Packages (SDPs) and Equipment Order Lists (EOLs).
• Building base router configuration
• Updating of Databases and Tools to ensure that the EVPN/AVPN Customer Service is Managed, Measured and Billed
• Provisioning of customer PVCs and Switch Ports
• Removal of customer PVCs and Switch Ports
• Interrogating orders and emails to identify customer requirements
• Communication with OM’s, Lead Engineer to support the overall success of the project

Information about the selection process

Working hours:
• Primarily EMEA shift (9am-5.30pm) with some Afternoon (US Hours shift)
• Working overtime/weekends/shifts may be required in order to support customer’s requests.
• Working hours can change based on customer requirements

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• Knowledge of Communication Technologies and Networking Technologies:
• TCP/IP
• LAN
• WAN
• Experience with Cisco Router Configuration or Cisco Certification is advantageous (CCNA)
• Proficiency with software applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Visio
• Strong data entry and PC skills
