Job description, responsibilities and duties
Lead Engineer to support all design functions and to support customer migrations. Is the Technical leader of deployment phase for various projects on customer network. Participates on design and deploys network solutions, performs network changes of medium and high complexity. Configures various types of devices, supports LAN / WAN / WLAN infrastructure and interacts with internal and external partners to complete tasks required to deliver project in line with standards and customer contract. Acts as SME for various technologies and owns related processes.
Roles and responsibilities:
Working time: US and EMEA working hours - expected to support customer migrations and changes in the evenings and at weekends as requested by the customer.
* Participate on design and deploy network solutions
* Perform network changes of medium and high complexity.
* Configure various types of devices, support LAN / WAN infrastructure and interact with internal and external partners to complete tasks.
* Assist in the root cause determination of network related problems.
* Solve complex technical problems, including those which require research and/or extensive analysis in order to resolve.
* Act as Subject Matter Expert across multiple teams and organizations.
* Support customers in different time zones, which include migrations and changes also in the evenings.

* Extended knowledge in LAN/WAN administration
* Excellent English Language skills
* Strong data entry and PC skills
* Knowledge in the area of networking and Cisco equipment configuration
* Proficiency with software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
* Customer focused, presentation skills; strong oral and written communication skills
* Unix – user level skills
