Project Manager (US hours)

The IBM Global Account is one of the largest network outsource contracts in the industry. The dynamic nature of IBM’s business requires enormous flexibility in network infrastructure provisioning. We handle over 1300 requests for network service every year in the US. Moving these swiftly and accurately from concept to reality is the challenge of the Project Manager, who will join our team in Bratislava.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Manage customer relationship:
Help customers get their requirements into the correct portal with the appropriate priority. Work with the pre and post sales work centers to manage escalations and customer-directed rework, and close with customer.

• Ensure GeCEP workflow
GeCEPs bring formal customer requirements from concept through delivery. Because each requirement is unique, the customer or technical solutions architect often need guidance on how to bridge the gap between a business need and a network solution

• Estimate labor
For GeCEPs which require professional labor, and not equipment, estimate the hours, and lock-in commitments from, and ensure delivery from Technical Solutions Architect (TSA presales rate letter), Technical Architect (TA – post sales design), firewall Systems Engineer (SE), LAN SE, SNA SE, ABFS dispatched technicians, cable design and vendor, Project Implementation Manager (PIM), etc.

• Develop the process
Report status, iteratively develop the process to meet the customer’s needs, and take business direction from AT&T Service Management

• Deliver results
Decide how to get to the next step, overcome objections, escalate service providers, and explain actions to customers. The measures of success are flawless implementation, at a speed that ensures customer satisfaction.

Education and Qualifications:
• Project Management trained and experienced / Certification preferred but not required
