Job description, responsibilities and duties

This newly created position is a career opportunity to lead the team of KYC analyst serving 15 entities of Arval BNP Paribas in Europe from our Regional Center in Bratislava.
We are looking for experienced teamleader, who have background from KYC / KYI or Compliance area.
Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Oversee KYC operations team, including training, hiring, coaching, and managing staff
  • Manage KYC/KYI - related KPIs (key performance indicators) for the segment/country to ensure consistency in quality and timeliness of completion
  • Perform KYC/KYI analysis
  • Perform KYC/KYI controls of clients/buyers/intermediaries
  • Perform alerts analysis (SUN, Raptor)
  • Ongoing management reporting to senior management within local countries
  • Communication, preparation and support during internal audit assignments and work on recommendation closing together with proactive approach related to 3rd level controls
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures applicable to the team, including iterating on existing workflows to streamline and add efficiency
  • Understand regulatory landscape and compliance requirements; with emphasis on applicable AML and Financial Security requirements that include customer identification procedure, due diligence best practice, sanction screening requirements, and anti-money laundering protocols
  • Liaise with all relevant business partners, both internally and externally
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on regulatory changes and landscape
