Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Being responsible for comprehensive management of all financial aspects of a manufacturing company
- Preparing financial statements on a monthly / yearly basis
- Planning and managing the company budget, analyzing deviations in performance and proposing measures to their eliminations
- Being responsible for controlling activities
- Participating on setup of KPIs
- Preparing reports and analyses for the local management and global headquarters
- Driving cost efficiency and continuous improvement in the entrusted area
- Participating at development of strategic plans
- Being responsible for financial evaluation of new projects
- Setting up and implementing accounting and financial system in accordance with applicable legislation
- Leading the assigned team
- Providing advisory and support to managers and employees in finance related issues

Personality requirements and skills

- University degree or equivalent work experience in Corporate Finance
- Previous experience on a similar managerial position within a production company
- Proficiency in controlling
- Understanding of accounting
- Fluent knowledge of Slovak and English languages
- Advanced PC user
- Good quantitative and analytical skills
- Ability to explain the story behind the numbers
- Strong communication skills with an ability to obtain and analyze information and draw business solutions
- Ability to effectively deliver insights, recommendations and results to the executive management
- Strong sense of urgency around delivery of reports and deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Integrity, honesty and discretion
- Team player with ability to motivate its team members
