Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- Having cross functional responsibility for identifying, driving/leading all improvements projects impacting the factory efficiency
- Driving the implementation of the company manufacturing model and coordinating all activities linked to performance improvements process
- Leading the factory Operation Excellence Road Map to maximize manufacturing efficiency, reducing all types of losses, developing capacity, and involvement and contribution of all employees at plant level
- Reporting to Plant Manager
- Challenging environment to ensure the factory is continuously improving its operation performance
- Acting as part of an effective Industrial Performance network to continuously bring new ideas linked to improvements methods and tools
- Driving behavioral change across the plant, including support functions, through coaching and influencing employees Instrumental in achieving the plant conversion productivity target and identifying productivity opportunities to close potential gaps
- Developing a continuous improvement roadmap / site master plan annually for the entire facility and provide assistance for the execution (facilitation, coordination, visualization, communication, celebration)
- Delivering clear understanding of the requirements for the continuous improvement process at the company (e.g. behaviors, attitude and culture) necessary to build a productive environment that sustains productivity delivery and improve safety, quality and service.
- Supporting the factory management team in implementing all management processes and standards
- Building a close partnership with the corporate industrial performance function as well as other corporates plants Participate to cross Audit/gate Review in other plants
- Define and coordinate improvement projects
- Reporting to Plant Director and Functional Reporting to Corporate Industrial Performance Director
- Supporting/coaching line/departmental resources on daily basis + middle term
- Having 2 direct reports
- Irregular business trip for meetings within community (1x/2x per year abroad)

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Technical one: mechanical engineering, electrotechnical or other type of technical

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

- Having 3 to 5 years minimum of professional experience in an operation role (production, supply chain, quality, product development role)
- English language knowledge (written and oral)
- French language knowledge is an advantage
- Certified 6 Sigma: Green Belt as minimum ideally Black Belt
- Information systems: Office Pack / SAP / good understanding of information systems
- Communication and leadership qualities
- Good teaching skills, leadership in a non-hierarchical mode, analysis and challenge abilities, rigour and organisation, diplomacy, convincing ability, tenacity, suggestion oriented, innovation open-minded
- Highly developed challenging mindset:
- Result oriented, driven and passionate
- Strong skills in project management incl. strong written + verbal communication
- Being able to move from a strategic vision to operational defining the core priorities
- Having ability to lead and influence others, be empowering, inspiring and a good trainer
- Analytical/conceptual thinking incl. helicopter view +
