Job description, responsibilities and duties
As Software Quality & Support Engineer (m/f) you are part of the Operations & Quality Assurance Team responsible for assuring the high quality standards of our Sales Application products and are working in close collaboration with the Software Development and Product Management teams. The key aspects of your work are quality assurance in the broader sense, technical third level support and fulfilling service requests.
Your tasks:
• Implementation of test cases, test plans and test scenarios
• Implementation and execution of automated tests
• Execution and documentation of regression-, usability- and functional tests
• Testing web applications and automated testing using Selenium WebDriver
• Testing database applications and automated testing using Quest Code Tester for Oracle or utPLSQL
• Incident handling and technical support
• Analysis, reproduction and reporting of software bugs
• Compose clear, concise, descriptive bug reports
• Collaboration with the Software Development and Product Management Teams
