Job opportunity:
Amazon Advertising is building a world class team in Bratislava, but also in Shanghai and India. Team is supporting advertisers & teams across the European region.
We are looking for a seasoned, experienced advertising leader who can help us build & scale this business, who will lead implementation and execution of activities in existing and new business locales. The person will be responsible for building the team, setting and meeting goals for different locales. The person will also be responsible for setting up the programs, hiring the relevant talent, mentoring the team on advertising related initiatives and ensuring that strategic business goals set are met.

To do this, the person needs to have a deep understanding of our advertising business and technology, have account-management/sales/operational capabilities, as well as have the ability to identify problem statements, to drive inferences from data to identify opportunities. In addition to working closely with the team members, this person will interact with product development, technical teams, business teams and clients. This leader will have to feel comfortable in an environment of growth, making fast paced decision using data and being able to both think at a high and detailed level.
Role and responsibilities:
· Lead a team across multiple distinct markets. Role is a combination of people management and project management.
Be a champion of an efficient, positive, solutions-based, and results-driven culture.
· Work with leaders in other regions and departments to strengthen process and improve outcomes for our clients.
· Use data to define better operating procedures and evaluate headcount models across markets.
· Build and maintain strong, active relationships with key client and stakeholders regionally and globally.
· Define roadmaps for local teams for different initiatives by working with marketing and business, train the team to execute the plan and deliver the results
· Flawlessly execute onboarding programs and new projects, test and learns, liaising with key internal and external stakeholders.
· Analyze account performance against key metrics to identify, recommend, and implement optimizations to increase efficiency and drive high retention rates of advertisers
· Own business reviews and engage with senior leadership teams on a regular basis

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

· Experience in Digital Advertising – PPC campaigns management and/or Display advertising
· Management experience of large teams
· Proven experience of ad operations, online marketing and advertising and people management
· Experience in Sales will be an added advantage
· Creative, detail-oriented, analytical, and highly-motivated professional who should be self-driven, be able to work independently and own up all programs and deliverables
· Strong analytical skills as well as experience in applying those skills in the advertising domain
· Ability to work cross-functionally and with a wide range of employees with different skill sets
· Bachelor's degree; emphasis in Marketing, Advertising, or Business preferred
· Sound judgment and flexibility in balancing program requirements, tight deadlines, and keeping people and projects moving on schedule

· MBA or other related Master's degree
· Passion for online advertising and a track record of delivering outstanding results
· Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
· Demonstrated high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
· Experience in data analysis, either professional experience or through your education
