Job description, responsibilities and duties

Amazon is looking for a site support person to support the Bratislava Finance organization.

Candidates should have some experience of delivering support as demonstrated by being given positions and/or responsibilities of various scope. The candidate should have some experience of taking the initiative and delivering results. The role requires a person with good judgment, an eye for accuracy, consistent character, and the ability to attend to details and get things done across a variety of areas.

The most successful candidate will be an effective communicator, both verbally and with written correspondence, equally adept with internal and external customers at all levels and from all walks of life and with a positive can do attitude.

This position will work closely with Bratislava Management team and across the Finance team in Bratislava. Understanding basic company organization, working relationships, and business partner roles and responsibilities is important. Believing in Amazon’s vision while intuitively understanding how to apply these values to enhance working relationships is the key to success in this role.

Drive key team activities (such as staff meeting agendas, all hands meetings, lunch & learn sessions, supply ordering, catering)
Ordering & tracking Finance Library
Tracking language skills across site
Expense reporting
Support Training Team
Run Bratislava Finance award process
Assist with site Training plans and act as a central communication role across the team

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University student
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

· Excellent English language skills
· Customer Service Experience
· Enthusiasm, positivity and strong self-motivation; Desire to expand skills into new areas
· Strong prioritization, time management and organizational skills, with a high degree of flexibility
- Comfort and ability to work alongside management

· Experience in MS Office
· Previous experience of supporting / organizing events
· Previous experience of producing written communications in a corporate environment
- Some finance experience
