Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
Role Description:
The senior accountant will ensure all the task related to local accounting for the Branches in Slovakia and partially in Hungary according to the internal processes and due terms. He/She is responsible to ensure efficient and compliant accounting workflows to guarantee high quality for the transactions and processes.
Responsibilities:
• Fulfilment of the general accounting tasks
• Processing and control of invoices
• Provisioning of data for asset accounting (e.g. asset activations, asset disposal, asset transfer, asset reclassifications)
• Participates at the preparation of monthly/quarterly and year-end closing in accordance with the Allianz Technology SE reporting calendars and principles
• Checks correctness of bookings of outsourced teams
• Prepares mandatory tax/fiscal report for Slovak authorities (VAT reports outsourced)
• Gives support to Regional Financial Officer for all aspects related to accounting and fiscal processes
Other duties:
• The ability to work individually and manage specific problems in the corporate/global environment
• Good knowledge of fiscal legislation for Slovakia and basic IFRS principles
• Supports the preparation of all documents that belong to the quality management system (procedures, instructions etc.) related to accounting processes
• Fulfils other activities set by the Regional Finance Officer

• Good experience with SAP FI accounting systems is a plus

• Strong analytical skills
• Self-managed profile, able to organize the accounting tasks in order to meet the terms related to monthly/quarterly and year-end closings
