Job description, responsibilities and duties
o o Establishes Web system specifications by analyzing access, information, and security requirements; designing system infrastructure
o Establishes Web system by planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of server hardware, software, and operating and system management systems; defining system and operational policies and procedures
o Maintains Web system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software, and operating and system management systems; designing and running system load/stress testing; escalating application problems to vendor
o Secures Web system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing back-ups; maintaining documentation
o Upgrades Web system by conferring with vendors and services; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software
o Meets financial requirements by submitting information for budgets; monitoring expenses
o Updates job knowledge by tracking emerging Internet technologies; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

o o At least 2-3 years of active experience with one or more well known application /web servers: IIS, Tomcat, jBoss, Apache httpd,
o Good knowledge of network topology and security aspects (DMZ, CORE network, firewalls, routing...)
o Very good knowledge of HTTP protocol, enryption (SSL/TLS) and load balancing
o Good knowledge of Linux (RHEL) and/or Windows server
o At least 2-3 years of experience with Continuous intergation tools, like jenkins, Maven, Git, etc...
o Good knowledge of typical deployment chains across multiple environments in clustered infrastructure
o Good knowledge of monitoring tools and monitoring best practices
o Experiences with automation of routine tasks, in one or more Windows/Linux shells
