What we do

At R&D center in Nokia Bratislava we are developing state-of-the-art technologies which allow our customers to move towards next generation of IP Networks by developing network management solutions and various features for large systems used by biggest network, content or telecom providers in the world.

What are your job duties

System software developers work on various aspects of a data network system and develop solutions and software for enhanced functionalities, features, protocols and products. We are looking for engineers proficient in C/C++, python to develop system management software to configure and manage network elements. The work involves learning and working on various different components of data network elements including forwarding plane, network stack, IP protocols and management software. We have many positions open in this area.

What we are looking for

• passion for software development and programming
• any programming language expertise
• knowledge of C, C++, Python is a plus
• good understanding of computer science basics
• virtualization, Network Function Virtualization (NFV), Virtual Network Functions (VNF) knowledge is a plus
