Senior Front-End Developer

Role Description & Responsibilities
AFS/Exceedra has an established database-backed B2B application that is packaged and delivered to tens of clients. As part of our vision of continued support for our existing clients, improving the integration of our newly acquired products and driving implementation of fresh vision in to TPM and TPO software, Exceedra Product team is looking to recruit a Senior Front-End Angular developer, contributing to the exciting re-imagination of our flagship Exceedra Enterprise product, working on collaboration with and reporting in to the Solutions Architects.
Your main roles and responsibilities will include:
• Advanced understanding of the Exceedra technology stack from both a technical perspective and how this translates to effects on client business processes.
• Apply analytical, problem solving and engineering best-practices and experience to support initiatives within current supported versions and greenfield new project development within Exceedra.
• Work with the solution architects, project coordinators and business analysts to manage the lifecycle of product-team based initiatives.
• Follow internal processes, methodologies and best practices and contributing to their continued evolution and improvement.
• Continued development of your own skillset on relevant areas as a developer.
• Liaising directly with stakeholders and other team members to ensure correct completion of assigned tasks
• Liaising with external stakeholders and clients to support successful integrations and adoptions of our demand planning solutions
 
Typical Work Description
The product team follows an agile scrum methodology where work items are divided in to committed work units (sprints). Your team is autonomous and efficient, self-organizing to deliver the committed work items as a priority over uncommitted work. You will also contribute to planning meetings to ensure that the work items are well understood, as well as retrospective reviews where discussions on team improvement are made and actioned.

Outside of these planning meetings, your typical work day includes implementation of ticketed tasks either autonomously, or in co-operation with your other team members as well as contributing to the internal product team channel to ensure that your fellow team members are not blocked in their work efforts.
