For our Bratislava Business Center we are currently seeking to recruit a
VAT Specialist
Your responsibilities:
Responsible for VAT compliance obligations in various jurisdictions in the EMEA region, in particular:
Preparation and submission of VAT returns, Intrastat returns, EC Sales/Purchase lists, Special reports and refund claims
Timely tax payments
Data validation and reconciliation of VAT accounts
Assist in external and internal audits
Support with VAT registrations
Requirements:
experience in the area of VAT in EMEA is an advantage
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or tax
Team player with a positive 'can do’ attitude
Use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions for challenges and obstacles
Relevant experience with SAP
Knowledge of accounting principles and related procedures is a plus
Good communication skills, problem solving skills, organizational and planning skills
Good oral and written English language skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
What we offer:
Base gross monthly salary starting from 1400 EUR. Our salary is fair and competitive and can be higher than the starting minimum written in the advert
