Job description, responsibilities and duties
For our Bratislava Business Center we are currently seeking to recruit a
Manager Manufacturing Engineering
Responsibilities:
• Process development and assembly sequencing (process flow chart) for new programs
• Perform Standard Quote Packages (SQP) for new Projects
• Plan, order and installation of new assembly equipment, production layout, headcount planning and line balancing
• Use industrial engineering methods to determine the assembly time (MTM/TiCon)
• Use global BBP data as reference for performance indicators and departmental objectives
• Support feasibility analysis (DFA/DFM) and execute PFMEA`s(E1ns) on new products
• Plant and process layout for new products and plant launches (AutoCAD)
• Perform cost analysis of product and process alternatives (investments and assembly time)
• Work with SD-Teams to complete product launches
• Consider and Implement manufacturing best business practices (BBP) and standards in SQP`s
• Improvement strategies: actively support activities for manufacturing footprint analysis, continuous improvement of new and/or ongoing manufacturing process and lean manufacturing implementation
• AME deliverables as requested on PLUS timeline
• Leading of project package handover to Plant ME
• Support manufacturing CI implementation in post launch programs
Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial) or similar
• 6-8 years minimum experience in a Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering Capacity
• OEM or Tier One automotive seating or interior trim work experience
• High volume automotive manufacturing engineer-in work experience
• Project management experiences in international environment
• Budgeting and cost control
• Strong computer and manufacturing skills
• Experience in MTM/TiCon desirable
• Experience in Process and Equipment development
• Plant Layout drawing-up using AUTOCAD
• Equipment selection, purchasing and installation
