RESPONSIBILITIES:

Team Management
• Management of finance & payroll team
• Ensuring the productivity and overall performance of finance team
• Team upskilling and development, setting up individual and team development plans
• Conducting regular and year-end performance appraisals based on defined KPIs, targets and competencies

Business Operations & Strategy
• Supervising all financial tasks: statutory accounts, reporting, payroll, billing, tax, legal
• Ensuring compliance of accounting and reporting principles and processes with local and US GAAP procedures (Group reporting), preparing the analysis and justification of the P/L and balance sheet accounts every month
• Supervising the month-end closing process, reconciliation and accruals
• Managing tax issues, monitor the timely production of tax returns, payment and reporting
• Prepare audit and filing statutory accounts as per local and group deadlines interacting with external and internal auditors
• Analyzing, developing and implementing of short-, medium-and long-term strategies and plans of the company's financial performance
• Preparing and implementing the business annual budget and monthly forecasts
• Controlling the company’s finance liquidity
• Communication with external financial institutions, negotiates the terms of
deposits and loans, authorizes payments; support of tenders and contract preparations
• Close cooperation local HR, HUB and branches

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1) and Slovak - Proficiency (C2)

Personality requirements and skills

• 3 - 5 years of experience as a Financial Controller in a multinational organization with significant financial performance
• Business & Financial thinking
• Analytical, responsible, good time management & independent
• Strong personality with excellent communication skills and people management
• Very good knowledge of accounting & tax legislation
• Understanding of US GAAP standards
• Advanced in Excel, fluent English
