HOT HOT HIRING RIGHT NOW!!!! For new Office of BRITISH AIRWAYS located in Bratislava we are looking for Marketing Specialist possition:

Job Purpose

To provide tailored, language relevant support to our Europe Sales Team, effectively managing activities to allow more quality time for your field sales colleagues to focus on profitably developing corporate and agency relationships.

You will be essential to the success of our multi-brand corporate and agency portfolio in Europe. You will provide email assistance to our sales teams with servicing requests that cannot be fulfilled by our call centres, whilst championing the needs of the business.

Working in an often-challenging environment you will build excellent internal relationships, and work collaboratively with your virtual team in the field to offer proactive problem-solving and to take ownership of finding the right solution or response and in prioritising your workload. You will raise servicing cases in Salesforce to our operations team, when requesting waivers & favours.

You will provide proactive marketing activity support to our Trade and Leisure partners. You will own proactive email communications to our customer base and will proof-read translated content to ensure it is fit for purpose before it is sent.

Principal Accountabilities (top 6)
• Being aligned to a market or markets in Europe, you will interact daily with our sales teams on the ground. You will be able to evaluate requests and find viable commercial solutions to finalise sales, in accordance to agreed guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with field sales colleagues to assist with delivering marketing activities across the portfolio, supporting the planning process, taking ownership of delivery of planned activity, ensuring that quality collateral and content is deployed in time, and fulfilling the payment process once invoices come in.
• Be responsible for external communication of process changes, business news, tactical activity, news on product and services and adhoc trade material when required.
• You must have the ability to prioritise effectively, making fact-based decisions that are in line with business goals and focus on finding solutions that deliver the best result, coordinating with other departments and proactively following up outstanding issues with GSO team or other teams where required.
• Proof reading of translations which are provided by Lionsbridge (our translation agency) and short adhoc translations.
• Use timely, clear and comprehensive communication, both verbally and written in both English and the required European language.

• Able to take ownership of delivery

Expertise (Specialist knowledge)
• Working knowledge of Office 365
• Knowledge of GDS and CRM system an advantage (e.g. Amadeus, Resiber, Salesforce)
• Understanding of PNRs, fares & ticketing an advantage
• Excellent oral and written English and additional European language
• Strong commercial acumen (in aviation industry an advantage)
