This is unique opportunity to have direct impact on corporate sustainability of one of the most known global insurers.
Zurich’s global sustainability reporting team is looking for a hands-on, communicative and proactive Business Analyst who will bring lot of improvements to its processes and systems which are required for the new regulatory requirements like CSRD and ISSB.

As an IT Business Analyst, your main responsibilities will include:

Drive close collaboration of the sustainability reporting team with business stakeholders to understand critical requirements for the continuous development of the ESG system (analyze business requirements, internal and external regulatory reporting requirements)
Understand new data requirements and the ability to translate this into system requirements
Act as liaison between technical teams and business to prioritize customer value and foster mutual understanding and clarity during implementation
Works closely with data owners and the group Sustainability reporting team on Dataset creation and validation
Preparation and coordination of data for status reports, briefings, information inquiries and documentation
Running quality checks, quality control measures, and monitoring programs related to data accuracy and appropriateness
Assists with system integration testing and user acceptance testing of the ESG reporting system
Accountable for End-to-end oversight and driving the development for larger implementation topics (Epics)
Assess performance of the ESG processes and underlying systems, use data modelling techniques to identify and propose solutions and improvements to boost ESG data collection, analysis and reporting efficiency
Oversee the implementation of new technology and system modules, derive meaningful insights to help improve business decisions
Continuous development backlog prioritization
Staying up to date on the latest process and IT enhancements to automate and modernize systems
Contribute to data management project documentation including, but not limited to: project scope, data/technical requirements, recommended data management plan, data flow diagram, traceability matrix, and RACI matrix, and implements solution aligned with data stewardship principles
Maintains general documentation to support audit preparedness, reference documents, Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions
Develops and facilitates presentations and training to internal audiences

As an IT Business Analyst, your skills and experience will ideally include:

Experience with Business Analysis using agile development methods (Scrum, Kanban) and tools (JIRA, DevOps) and data modelling
Relevant experience is defined as:
- Experience contributing to data management solutions, data cleaning, and/or application development
- Proficient in data mapping, ETL processing, and data integration
- Proficient in SQL, Python coding and experience working with relational databases.
- Good understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Analytical and proactive agile mindset
Advanced MS Office skills, especially MS Excel
High level of IT affinity
Ability to steer and lead
Deal with ambiguity
