Our opportunity


We are looking for an enthusiastic and at the same time detail-oriented and oganised individual to join our General Insurance Team.

Your role
As a Junior Actuarial Analyst / Data Scientist your main responsibilities will involve:
* Building pricing models for various insurance products, for countries in Europe and other regions, to reflect the risk the company is taking on
* Communication of analytical insights within the company
* Development of pricing analyses to assist with price setting 
* Participation in Research and Development - testing of new softwares, methodologies, developing best practise 
* Collaboration with various departments (underwriting, marketing, claims, IT etc.)
* Using innovative statistical methods to deliver business solutions

Your Skills and Experience
As a Junior Actuarial Analyst / Data Scientist your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
* University education (Master's degree preferred) in Financial mathematics, Actuarial science, Statistics, Quantitative methods
* English – advanced, other languages are an advantage
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package
* Knowledge of programming languages is a plus (SAS, VBA, Query languages, etc.)
* Understanding of mathematical and analytical softwares is an advantage (R, Python)
* Ability to work as a part of the team but also independently
* Creativity, open minded and proactive approach
* Willingness to embrace the actuarial career
* Openness to opportunities for travelling abroad
