Junior SAP BW Developer

We are seeking a Junior SAP BW Developer to join our emerging BI & Analytics organization. In this role, you will be responsible to operate and manage day to day Application Services delivered to our business customers. You will be working in close collaboration with Application Service Managers, Platform Managers and  external partners teams to ensure operational excellence and maximize the value of the solution delivered to our business customers.

 

Your role
 
As a Junior SAPB BW Developer your main responsibilities will involve:
* First level Application support
* Ensure data availability & accuracy
* Provide dedicated support during Fiscal Period End Closing activities
* Support the user community in their day to day activities with respect to Reporting & Planning
* Translate business requirements into solutions design
* Incident resolution & Management
* Assess, Implement, test and document change requests
* Data modelling, Data Propagation Design, Reporting
* Planning Scenarios design with SEM-BPS and Integrated Planning
* Access & Authorization Management for the applications in scope
* Performance optimization and troubleshooting of the applications in scope 

Your Skills and Experience
 
As a Junior SAP BW Developer your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
* Bachelor Degree (IT), Master degree or Technical Diploma or equivalent
* 3 years’ Experience with SAP BW implementations (at least one full life cycle)
* Experience with Integrated Planning (nice-to-have)
* ABAP programming, including Odbject Oriented ABAP
* BEx Analyzer & Web Application Designer
* FI/CO Business Content
* Experience in agile IT development methodologies (e.g:. SCRUM)
* Prior experience working in a financial services environment desirable, preferably insurance
* Ability to work effectively in a global organization, under time pressure and to manage ambiguity
* Good English skills (Written & Oral)

 
Additional Information
 
Primary work location is Bratislava with occasional travel depending on the nature and level of involvement in respective projects.
