Your role
  To  be responsible for the delivery of BI & Analytics operations services for our global shared platforms.  You will play a key role in defining the platform management requirements as early as project initiation, ramping up the required services and resources and ensuring new solutions are smoothly being transitioned into regular operations, in collaboration with the project management team, the solution design team and the service management team.  You will proactively drive communications and stakeholder management.  You will report to the Head of BI Platform Management.

 
 
As a {Platform Manager SAP BPC/BW} your main responsibilities will involve

• Management of operations of shared BI and Analytics platforms to ensure the delivery of a consistent level of service provision to different customers around the world.

• Administation and implementation of systems and their components according to given guidelines.

• Supporting projects to ensure consistent design and implementation within the existing/planned infrastructure.

• Release Management of Platform Components: Definition of Roadmaps, Software Release Updates, Design and Implementation of Platform Framework, Design and Implementation of functional Platform extensions.

• Technical Governance: Definition of Implementation Guidelines, Review of designs and Implementations, Management of the technical Governance Process.

Your Skills and Experience
 
As a (Platform Manager SAP BPC/BW) your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• University level education or equivalent (Computer Science or equivalent)

• Prior experience working in a financial services environment desirable, preferably insurance

• Over 5 years of relevant BI experience, with strong technical background in Informatica PowerCenter, SAP Business Objects, Microstrategy, SAP BW, SAP BPC, IBM DB2.

• Additional experience with one or several of the following stacks is a plus: HANA, AIX, MS SQL Server

• Solid experience in Service Management both at application and platform levels

• Deep knowledge of the BI domain, its paradigms and architectures.

• Fluent English Language skills
