Your role
The role is to carry out the development and production of Life Replicating Portfolios for Zurich Group.
As a Junior Data Scientist your main responsibilities will involve

• Assisting in the production of Life Replicating Portfolios.

• Analysing large data sets (financial instruments and market data).

• Designing innovative solutions to our processes and analyses using latest technology for data Manipulation.

• Supporting maintenance of existing DB, Excel and Matlab based tools.

• Supporting miscellaneous projects in Global Life Actuarial.

• Following the Zurich methodology standards.

• Having impact on our processes improvement.

Your Skills and Experience
From Junior Data Scientist:

We do not require prior work experience

We are looking for people:

• With strong motivation and willingness to learn.

• Tech savvy

• Having programming skills (ideally VBA, Matlab, SQL but any other programming experience will be considered)

• Able to communicate in English (writing and speaking)

• With IT, Mathematical, Insurance or Actuarial degree
