Your role
  
As a Senior Actuarial/Reserving Analyst your main responsibilities will involve

- Under general direction, support reserving, portfolio profitability analysis, reinsurance analysis, or market-facing business units in support of business objectives. 

- Assists in calculation of actuarial best estimate reserves (loss and premium), business planning, and profitability analyses for segments of insurance business.

- Support actuarial services related to Risk Based Capital model development, parameterisation and allocation activities to ensure we have approrpriate capital in place given the risks.

- Supervision of junior colleagues

- Communicate analytical insights within the company

- Leading role in Research and Development - testing of new softwares, methodologies, developing best practise

- Collaborate with various departments (underwriting, marketing, claims, IT etc.)

- Use innovative statistical methods to deliver business solutions

Your Skills and Experience
 
As a Senior Actuarial/Reserving Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

* University education (Master's degree)
* Candidates with Postgraduate (Doctorate) also suit the position.
* Specialisation, field: Financial mathematics, Actuarial science, Statistics, Quantitative methods or some other numerical degree
* English – advanced, other languages are a plus
* 3 and more years of experience in insurance
* Leading skills with project management experience is an advantage
* Communicative, understanding the wider picture
* Creative, open minded and proactive approach
* Willing to embrace the actuarial career
* Open to opportunities for travelling abroad

 
Additional Information
