Reporting Specialist

Our opportunity

 
You will join the Risk Modeling Platform Team (RMP), part of the Enterprise Data Analytics & Architecture Function within Group Operations & Technology. The RMP is Zurich’s centralized platform for integrating and consolidating Zurich’s risk quantification and modeling processes. The RMP hosts a number of bespoke and complex risk models including solvency and risk based capital models. In the role of Reporting Specialist, you will join a dynamic and agile team with a close working relationship with Group Risk and  Group Treasury and Capital Management, providing efficient, robust analytics and risk modelling services to the Zurich Group.
 
Your role
 
As a Reporting Specialist, your main responsibilities will involve:

* Participation as a developer within an Agile Scrum Team working on new developments for a variety of analytic applications, including design, development and testing of analytic reports in support of platform and application level analytic solutions. 
* Engagement in operational run support and incident management and problem management for productive applications running on Support Business partners with ad-hoc business analyst / consulting requests. 

Your Skills and Experience

 
We are expecting some experience in the development and testing of analytic solutions, combined with strong communication skills required for working closely with business stakeholders.  Your skills and experience will ideally include:

* University level education, ideally technical in nature
* 1-2 years of experience as a data analyst or report developer
* Prior experience working in a financial services environment desirable, preferably insurance
* Effective communication, presentation and relationship management skills at different levels and in a multicultural Environment
* Fluent in English (spoken and written)
* Desirable - Demonstrable Knowledge of Risk management techniques, such as VaR and experience with MSSQL SSRS

Primary work location is Bratislava, with occasional travel depending on the nature and level of involvement in respective projects.
