Job description, responsibilities and duties
Our opportunity
Responsible for creation and managing of complex data interfaces between systems. Liaison with Business and IT SMEs on requirements, specifications, IT & functional testing, data quality, and business reconciliation.
Responsible for analyzing and translating business requirements into functional requirements. Close collaboration with Developers and business SME’s to ensure close alignment of business needs with functional requirements.
Your role
As a Business Analyst your main responsibilities will involve:
* Drive gap analysis (data and requirements) to establish what application functionality and system changes required to satisfy full requirements.
* Assist with data mapping for the creation of interfaces for data-transfer.
* Perform IT & Functional testing on data interfaces
* Assist SMEs for Business reconciliation testing
* Drives business requirements gathering and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements.
* Participate in the estimation of the effort needed to implement the requirements.
* Participate in the analysis and design of the solution in collaboration with the Solution Designer.
* Write test cases derived from the requirements to support the testing activities.
* Participate as SME on behalf of the business in the User Acceptance Tests.
* Supports users in building Business Case, including cost / benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and development of a high level plan,
* Performs impact analysis of application changes across various components, holding an end-to-end view of the system.
* Write user guides and end user documentation / presentations
Your Skills and Experience
As a Business Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
* Fluent English (written and spoken), other languages are bonus
* Bachelor or Masters Degree in IT or Business Administration
* 5 years) Experience in capturing and analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into functional requirements
* (2 years) Experience on large global data projects.
* Prior experience working for insurance or financial services/banking multinational organization.
* Knowledge of modelling methods and techniques (e.g. UML)
