Application Subject Matter Expert

Our opportunity

As an application SME, you will be responsible for assuring the operability, supportability, availability and stability of services currently in production and new services being generated by projects. You will be responsible for ITIL problem management and Service Transition processes. You will work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts and Application Architects as well as the Operations Team in driving robust and responsive solutions that meet business needs. English language skills are required for fluid communications with various technical and business stakeholders.

 
Your role
 
As an Application Subject Matter Expert your main responsibilities will involve
* Managing transition of new or changed service from project to operations
* Responsible for Problem Management service
* Providing leadership and technical support for major IT transformation programs
* Acting as technical liaison between Operations and Development  
* Service Asset and Configuration Management for each service
* Knowledge Management for each service

Your Skills and Experience
 
As an Application subject Matter Expert your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent or specific relevant experience

* 5 years of experience in Application Development or Application Performance Management or Technical Assurance or Quality Assurance Engineer or DBA or 2 years as an Application Quality Architect

* Good knowledge of ITIL Service Management and specifically Service Transition and Problem Management

* Good knowledge of Application Development Lifecycle and DevOps

* English: Fluent spoken and written, working language (meetings and conferences, technical explanations, documentation)

* Technical skills (required):
+ Microsoft Windows Server 2008 or 2012 or Unix
+ DevOps and Continuous Integration
+ C#, .Net or Java, JavaScript
+ Microsoft SQL Server database 2012 or any SQL DB
