Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Support reserve reviews and reporting of reserve findings across Europe and the Middle East
- Assists in calculation of actuarial best estimate reserves (loss and premium), business planning, and profitability analyses for segments of insurance business.
- Support actuarial services related to Risk Based Capital model development, parameterisation and allocation activities to ensure we have approrpriate capital in place given the risks.
- Communicate analytical insights within the company
- Participate in Research and Development - testing of softwares, methodologies, developing best practise
- Collaborate with various departments (underwriting, marketing, claims, IT etc.)
- Use innovative statistical methods to deliver business solutions
