Data Quality Analyst

Zurich is seeking an experienced Data Quality Analyst to join the central Global Corporate Data & Analytics team.
The right candidate will join a small team of highly qualified and experienced professionals, working on true Big Data projects with a direct impact on the success of Zurich’s front line business.
You will be responsible for supporting global data quality initiatives, and the development and maintenance of group data quality frameworks including data quality processes and standards.

Your Role (Key Accountabilities)
As a Data Quality Analyst your main responsibility will involve:
• understand internal customers' objectives and processes.
• produce requirement specifications.
• develop a detailed understanding of data sources and work with use case owners to identify, define and implement Data Quality rules on “high value” data.
• monitor and profile data against these rules highlighting any issues.
• create and run reporting based on profiling.
• develop scorecards showing overall data quality of data based on profiling and reporting.
• detail qualitative improvement actions that can be understood and implemented by business and system owners.
• work with business to prioritize, plan and estimate time needed for improvement actions.
• work with Use Cases, Requirements Traceability Matrices and other BA artefacts as required.
• challenge the business on the requirements to drive business value.
• ensure requirements are aligned to the wider Global Corporate landscape globally.
• document and maintain group data quality framework and standards for the enterprise.
• support in implementing data quality framework and standards.
• support in developing and implementing group data management standards and track compliance to them.
• monitor emerging trends, tools, and methodologies specific to data governance and data quality.
• ensure quality expectations are embedded in the delivery methods and frameworks to improve project implementations.
• provide technical expertise on aspects of the data organizations, monitoring compliance to data management standards and regulatory requirements to solve problems
