Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Team Leader Operations oversees and coordinates reinsurance accounting, cash-flow management, process management, reinsurance regulations, claims management & reporting, quality assurance and partner governance.

She/he is leading a team of Specialists and SME’s (Subject Matter Experts). The Team Leader provides guidance, instruction, direction and coaching to the team members for achieving the key performance objectives in the field of Hub Operations.

The Team Leader Operations is monitoring the quantitative and qualitative result and address issues, if necessary. She/he will coordinate tasks and workload and act as a supervisor for issues related to Operations.

The Team Leader will work alongside the team members to achieve the team goals and collaborate closely with peer Team Leaders and with the Hub Manager, i.e. consult, report, align, share and coordinate actions/tasks/information whenever necessary in order to achieve the overall Hub objectives.

Key accountabilities:
• Maintain Policy and Premium data in IPS and other local tools
• Act as human interface between PC’s and Partners
• Support Partners with claims handling
• Perform bookings of premium and claims in IPS, according to agreed standards and 4 eye principles
• Support reconciliation and settlement process between PC and Partner, and liaise closely with Clearing House
• Actively support IPZ Operations and the Network
• Ensure high quality of information to all parties concerned and liaise closely with IPZ Operations and Network on all matters concerned
• Deliver according to Operating Directives (OD)
• Deliver according to Quality@IPZ targets and operational goals
• Work according to the agreed Hub processes (Unified Hub Processes)
• Support Partner Relationship Management by maintaining close day to day contact with peers at the partner offices
• Support Hub Manager and Team Leader Customer Service in coaching and training team members and partners
• Develop and maintain knowledge and expertise about the operational processes and reinsurance regulations in our partner countries.

Support the Team Leader Customer Service in:

• Quality Assurance requirements: providing and maintaining of data and information that is relevant for the Customer Service Team.

Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)
