Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of all BI & Analytics platform services across all platforms, including integration points between them, managing a team of platform managers. You will play a key role in defining the platform management requirements as early as project initiation, ramping up the required services and resources and ensuring new solutions are smoothly being transitioned into regular operations, in collaboration with the project management team, the solution design team and the service management team. You will proactively drive business communications and stakeholder management.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Managing all BI & Analytics platform services to ensure the service levels are fully met, proactively taking action to address issues. This involved the management of the platforms, across all BI technology components (i.e. SAP BW, SAP BO, SAP BPC, DB2, Informatica PowerCenter, Microstrategy)
• Leading communications towards the business and IT stakeholders
• Managing a team of platform managers with deep technical expertise, consisting of both internal and external resources, across diverse geographies
• Collaborating with Project Management and Solution Design teams to ensure the operational aspects of a solution are taken into account
• Optimizing the system landscape to increase overall robustness and stability of the BI & Analytics applications, defining and implementing the technical roadmaps
• Driving the definition of the platform management requirements, ramping up the required resources and approving operational

• Solid experience Platform Management and administration on large scale platforms
• Deep knowledge and experience in BI technologies
• Deep knowledge of Project management
• Deep knowledge of Platform management
• Service Management certification (e.g. ITIL) preferred
