Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Collect large loss data from BUs and process them to data for various Large Loss reports
• Perform statistical and individual deep dive analysis of the large loss data
• Provide structured claims insight to foster informed decision making
• Participate on projects related to large loss reporting and analysis
• Provide and independent view of the issues and drive their resolution
• Closely collaborate with other GI functions at global, regional and local level.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensure and perform regular collection of large loss data from BUs and store them in appropriate form in designated database
• Review quality of the collected data and fix identified issues by using software tools and by communicating with the BUs
• Constantly contribute to improvement of the data quality and efficiency of the process
• Process the collected and other data to the data that are required by the colleagues, whose are preparing various Large Loss reports
• Perform required statistical and individual analysis of the large loss data by the available software
• Participate on projects related to the large loss data collection, processing, analysis and reporting
• Identify deep dive areas in close collaboration with local BUs.
• Provide and independent view of the issues, drive resolution, follow up and learning.
• Provide structured claims insight in close collaboration with other GI functions at global, regional and local level to foster informed decision making.

Educational Specialization

• Masters in Business Administration, Quantitative Economics, Finance or Mathematics

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

• experience in Finance, Claims, Operations or UW is required (4-5 years overall, insurance background advantage)
• Proven track record in performance management, financial analysis/reporting and insurance accounting is big advantage
• High affinity to IT and data mining and analytic tools
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft ® Office 2010 Suites (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
• Solid experience in data warehouse and query languages (VBA, C#, SQL).
• Good knowledge of data analysis and visualization (Mathematica, @Risk, R, Microstartegy, SAS).
• Excellent analytical capabilities
• Highly flexible, agile and adaptive to change and mastering all kind of challenges
• Able to work under constant high pressure and high exposure
• Ability to summarize claims insight in compelling and easy to understand overviews and conclusions.
• High quantitative affinity and highly developed curiosity.
• Very high desire to constantly learn and improve the functions centrally and locally.
