Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti

- Conducts sophisticated performance analysis and analytics investigations
- Test, maintain and develops Global UW Reporting system and various analytical tools and reports
- Works closely together with UW, Finance, Capital Management and other functions to join forces, learn and improve for cross functional benefits.

BUSINESS ACCOUNTABILTIES:

- Provide performance insights to GI Underwriting including the production of Underwriting and Pricing KPI´s, metrics and reports for Global and Regional Underwriting

KEY TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Monitors and verifies GI performance from the UW perspective and follows up in case of unexpected results.
- Perform the UW analytics from development to delivery and any subsequent improvements.
- Supports deep dive analysis on behalf of the UW Actuaries and/or management.
- Works closely together with Finance and Capital Management to join forces, learn and improve for cross functional benefits.
- Provide summaries of UW Analysis results in compelling and easy to understand overviews and conclusions.
- Be proactive and drive the improvement of UW Reporting system and analysis tools
- Maintains and further develops the Global UW Reporting documentation & manuals
- Supports the Global UW Reporting system queries and support the development of new functionalities and reports, video learning sessions for Global UW Reporting system users.
- Ensure Quality Control of all work.
- Provide training and development to junior resources.
- Be proactive and solution focused.
- Focus on timely and quality delivery of all tasks

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

Experience
- 2+ years of experience in analytical or actuarial role
- Experience in insurance in pricing, reserving, claims or finance analytics is advantage
- Proven track record in using data reporting tools and data analysis
- Knowledge of vba for excel, sql and SAP Business Objects is advantage
- Willingness to further grow and improve the qualification by studying actuarial exams is advantage


KNOWLEDGE:
- Excellent English and communication skills;
- Knowledge of vba for excel, sql and SAP Business Objects- advantage
- Excellent analytical capabilities
- Highly flexible, agile and adaptive to change
- Able to work under pressure

TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Fully versed in the application of IT, mathematics and analytics.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft ® Office Suites (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
- Basic experience in data warehouse and query languages is strong advantage (VBA, SQL).
- Ability to summarize UW insight in compelling and easy to understand overviews and conclusions.
