Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

As a Head of PMO you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the Project Management agenda for ZUNO in line with the business strategy, working closely with key internal stakeholders and external parties as required. The Head of PMO manages a team of Project Managers.

* Own the overall Project Management function in the bank.
* Enable the business to deliver on its growth and productivity agenda by making sure that strategically important project are delivered on time and on scope and within the defined budget
* Define and manage the project portfolio in line with the business strategy.
* Lead the Project Management Committee of the bank; defining project priorities, budget, and reporting status/progress
* Develop a best-in-class Project management framework and implement the necessary tools.
* Define and manage the relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for project management in the bank.
* Build and lead a team of strong Project professionals, positioning PMO as a key business partner.
* Ensure creation and maintenance of project policies and other required documentation.
* Manage the selection process and the overall budget for external project related support (e.g. consultants)

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

* At least 5 years work experience in increasingly senior project leadership positions
* International experience; preferably from the CEE region
* Strong project management expertise and sound business acumen; preferably in the Financial Services industry
* High level of knowledge of project management methodology and standards
* Strong change management skills – ability to navigate in a dynamic and fast changing environment
* High level of initiative and persistence, dynamic and self-starting, cultural awareness, team orientation
* Team leadership experience is an advantage
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Knowledge of process management methodology (e.g. LEAN) is an advantage
