Commodity Buyer Lubricants

Seeking for a self-motivated commodity buyer with strong communication and negotiation skills to join our global commodity purchasing team within the chemicals Cluster. The Lubricants commodity is acting globally across the whole ZF group to support the growing needs of the related to oils, grease, paints, adhesives, thermal pastes.

As part of our team, you will be involved in the souring process for new projects ZF won. Within your daily business your will be ZFs contact window to the supplier and responsible for negotiating the needed contracts and purchasing prices based on defined targets.
You will work in a young and motivated team split across the world.

What you can look forward to as Commodity Buyer Lubricants (m/f/d):

• Strategic Sourcing for the Commodity: Bid List alignment, RFQ, Sourcing

recommendations up to SAB & SDB levels.

• Contribute to Commodity savings for the assigned suppliers and Part Families

in different regions in all Business Units, to achieve the OP targets, including
generation and follow up of VAVE measures.

• Generate and execute Global Competitive Sourcing's (GCS).
• Cost analysis for fact-based recommendations, from QAF (Quotation Analysis

Form) level to TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) level, in cooperation with Cost
Engineering. Currently not relevant for Lubricants

• Interface with internal customers on critical issues as necessary.
• Supplier lead Contact, coordination the commodity topics for the assigned

suppliers, including accountability for Business Plan fulfillment, capacity
planning, contractual status, financial health monitoring, etc.

• Maintenance of savings / inflation in the Purchasing systems (MAPS).
• Ownership of operational purchasing tasks in the field of responsibility

(purchase orders, invoices, etc.).
