Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Planning and organisation of the Application Services Team
- Applications are managed in close cooperation with the plants and BU. This includes product selection and implementation together with roll-out support
- Creation, implementation of a standardised European IT strategy for CA (Computer Aided) Systems
- Compilation, processing and analysis of relevant IT information for the purpose of defining strategies
- Creation of benchmarking and performance tracking criteria to track quality within areas of responsibility
- responsible for the daily support of PLM, Launch and Engineering applications in the EU region
- Carry out enhancements
- End user client contact (80-90%)
- In partnership with the broader IT organization, lead all aspect of application support for the EU region. As need arises, also lead, or coordinate with other leads on global applications and initiatives that require EU involvement.
- Responsible for working with IT customers on key issues that otherwise cannot be handled by the standard IT helpdesk support team.
- Plan and execute necessary application upgrades, maintenance support, hardware maintenance, and application optimization initiatives
- Partner with the PLM COE Architecture and Operations leaders to define hand over criteria and supportability of the deployed solutions
- Identify and recommend CI initiatives for improving the cost and quality of services to our business customers

- Technical experience with applications such as: Catia, NX, CAE tools, Web servers, Application servers, Enterprise Integration technology, Teamcenter PLM, General Engineering applications
