Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
- Support the timely reporting of key financial information; monitor the performance and quality of the activities performed based on agreed Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”)
- Ensure smooth daily operations regarding on-time monthly reporting
- Timely react on any requests from internal and external parties
- Processing of CAR (Capital Appropriation requests)
- Capitalization of assets and prepare the master-data
- Different type of disposals of assets
- Asset transfers
- Month-end close activities, posting of Journal Entries, Impairment and Investments postings
- Reconciliation preparation
- Leaseback project processing and Capital lease operations
- Fulfilling SOX and Audit Requirements, meet KPIs – communication and processing
- Contact point for questions regarding Fixed assets and tooling – internal / external
- Project administration – maintenance of Customer Tooling Costs & Recoveries and executing financial transactions in related Tooling ledger(s)
- Factoring process and Working capital management
- Communication with Tooling suppliers and reconcile invoice issues
- Discrete orders billing process to cover Tooling and Engineering recoveries
Requirements for the employee
Candidates with education suit the position
Secondary with school-leaving examination
Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)
Personality requirements and skills
- University degree in business administration or adequate professional experience focusing on Finance/ Accounting
- Min 2 years in the Accounting department of an industrial company or in an accounting firm
- Strong Accounting background and accuracy
- MS-Office, ERPs (QAD and/or MFGPro experience is advantage, SAP is advantage)
- Fluent in English, German language is an advantage
