IT Manager MES Applications

In order to enforce our Regional European Application Services team, we are looking at the earliest possible opportunity for an experienced Manager IT MES Applications.

In this position, your management and manufacturing related process know-how as well as application skills will enable you to manage the portfolio of IT services and applications with focus on Manufacturing Execution (MES) incl. relevant integration of manufacturing equipment with PLC based logic and communication, and with other IT applications. We are looking for candidates with substantial experience in the field, thus being able to drive all involved working activities for successful services in this area.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

- Management of application solution portfolio in context of global and regional standardization
- Collaboration with various IT and functional teams to deliver services and projects according to internal and external customer needs
- Management of related application vendors and implementation partners
- Definition and implementation of projects incl. budget, time, and resources needed
- Budget and resource management, possibly project management depending on project size
- Support and change management for application live operation
- Services reporting
