You will be responsible for responsible for all operational and advanced purchasing activities within the Energy / Utility while ensuring compliance with overall Yanfeng objectives, strategies and BOS procedures. Your responsibility includes the management of all suppliers within the sub-commodity group as well.

Main tasks:

- Lead Category Energy/Utility in developing the overall category strategy and implementation plan aligned with company processes and corporate objectives
- Provide the subject matter expertise and internal consultancy for all Energy/Utility enquiries
- Implement strategies and actions to achieve FY (Fiscal Year) cost reduction goals, including PO-to-PO (Purchasing Order) reductions and rebates
- Work closely with plant stakeholders to optimize energy consumption
- For sub-category areas, lead strategic sourcing activities, including but not limited to: spend analysis (benchmarking, supply market analysis, supplier analysis, negotiations, baseline analysis, contracting, outsourcing & offshoring, product lifecycle management, building business cases)
- Monitor and anticipate key market trends, developing go-to-market strategies that optimize supply base
- For assigned sub-category focuses, prepare deep dives on active strategic sourcing initiatives
- Lead sub-category deep dives on active strategic sourcing initiatives
- Review, negotiate, and select supplier contracts; evaluate supplier performance and response
- Manage sub-category supplier relationships, supporting Category Lead in developing new supplier relationships and enhancing existing ones
- Manage sub-category key stakeholder relationships while ensuring business requirements are met
- Develop and Drive energy efficiency programs throughout production and office facilities, advance business cases to approval stage
- Create a disaster recovery program/process per site/country
- Business planning input. Provide detailed Executive overviews, KPIs and Forecasts for all Utilities
- Liaise with Plant Mangers to anticipated Plant consumption and negate penalties
- Work closely with plant stakeholders to optimize energy consumption
