Job description:
- Support the timely reporting of key financial information; monitor the performance and quality of the activities performed based on agreed Key Performance Indicators (“KPIs”)
- Ensure smooth daily operations regarding on-time monthly reporting
Timely react on any requests from internal and external parties
- Prepare general ledger journal entries, ensuring proper coding, appropriate accruals are in place
- Provide financial and operational analysis for operations and internal departments
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
- Ensure all legislative requirements are complied with at all times
- Perform general ledger account reconciliations
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements
- Complete the close process in line with the group and local timetables
Accounting in a General Ledger - accruals, reversals, error correction, etc.
Transaction processing according to set procedures
- Ensuring compliance with corporate policies, reporting and statistics, administrative tasks
- Assist with internal and external audits, with month-end, quarterly and annual closings, and with special projects on various topics as needed
- Execute monthly FX revaluation and maintain FX revaluation accounts

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

Requirements:
- University degree in business administration or adequate professional experience focusing on Finance/ Accounting
- Min 2 years in the Accounting department of an industrial company or in an accounting firm
- Strong Accounting background and accuracy
MS-Office, ERPs (preferred QAD and/or MFGPro experience, SAP is advantage)
- Fluent in English
